Umisol® window films are spectrally selective films produced using sputtering technology.
Sputtering is an innovative technology in which layers of different metals (such as silver, titanium, stainless steel, etc.)
are integrated into the polyester film.
Umisol® consists of 5 metallized layers. The advantages of sputtering are that a variety of metals can be used. Specific metals are chosen in order to selectively operate at certain wavelengths in the solar spectrum (IR, UV, etc.).
